1. Our Commitment

We want you satisfied with what you buy from us. This Policy explains both our voluntary satisfaction guarantee (available to everyone) and your statutory rights (which apply automatically in certain jurisdictions and are not limited by anything in this Policy).

2. 72-Hour Satisfaction Guarantee — All Customers

If a digital publication purchased directly from patinaverse.com does not meet your expectations, email info@patinaverse.com within 72 hours of purchase and we will issue a full refund.

You do not need to give a reason. We would appreciate hearing what fell short — it genuinely helps us improve — but it is not a condition of your refund.

Our timeline: we acknowledge requests promptly and issue approved refunds to your original payment method promptly after approval. Your bank or card issuer may take a further 5–10 business days to post the credit — that portion is outside our control.

After a refund: the licence granted in Section 6 of our Terms of Service terminates, and you agree to delete any copies you downloaded. Download links expire 72 hours after they are issued, and we may disable further downloads after a refund.

Abuse. We may decline requests showing a pattern of abuse — for example, repeated purchase-and-refund of the same title. We may explain our reasoning in writing on request, and this limitation never overrides a statutory right under Section 3.

3. Statutory Rights — European Union, United Kingdom, and Similar Jurisdictions

These rights exist independently of the guarantee above. Nothing in this Policy waives, limits, or replaces them.

3.1 Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer resident in the EU or UK, you normally have 14 days from the conclusion of the contract to withdraw from a purchase of digital content, without giving any reason.

3.2 The immediate-delivery exception — important

Under Article 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU (and the equivalent UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013), the right of withdrawal is lost for digital content not supplied on a tangible medium if, and only if, all three of the following occurred:

Performance began with your prior express consent; and
You acknowledged that you would thereby lose your right of withdrawal; and
We provided you confirmation of that agreement on a durable medium.

How we handle this. If you are buying from the EU or EEA, we ask for this on our own site, as a separate step before you are sent to our payment provider. It is not part of agreeing to our Terms of Service and it is not combined with any other consent — it is its own clearly labelled, unticked checkbox, and you must actively tick it to continue:

☐ I expressly consent to the immediate supply of the digital content and acknowledge that, once delivery/download begins, I lose my 14-day right of withdrawal.

Ticking the box is required to continue to payment. If you do not tick it, you are not sent to the payment page, no payment is taken, and nothing is charged. We do not offer a purchase route in which delivery is deferred until the 14-day withdrawal period has run.

When performance begins. Immediately. Once your payment completes, your download starts on its own — we do not wait for you to click a link, and we do not hold your file behind an entitlement you might never use.

Your consent, the exact wording you were shown, and the date and time are recorded against your order, and the acknowledgement is repeated in your emailed order confirmation, which serves as confirmation on a durable medium.

The voluntary guarantee in Section 2 is offered in addition to, and does not limit, any statutory rights you have that cannot be waived.

3.3 How to withdraw

Email info@patinaverse.com stating your decision to withdraw, or use the model withdrawal form below. We will refund all payments received within 14 days of receiving your notice, using the same payment method you used, at no cost to you.

3.5 Other jurisdictions

Consumers in Australia, Canada, and other jurisdictions with mandatory consumer guarantees retain all rights conferred by their local law. Where local law provides a remedy more favorable than this Policy, local law prevails.

4. Printed Editions and Third-Party Retailers

Printed editions purchased through Amazon are governed by Amazon's own return and refund policy, not this one. We have no ability to process refunds for transactions we did not process. Please contact Amazon directly.

5. Failed Delivery or Technical Problems

If your download link fails, expires before use, or the file is corrupted, email info@patinaverse.com. This is handled as a delivery problem and does not limit your rights under Section 2 or applicable law.

6. Duplicate and Unauthorized Charges

If you were charged twice for the same product, or believe a charge was unauthorized, email info@patinaverse.com. Verified duplicate charges are refunded in full promptly, and outside the 72-hour window in Section 2.

7. Chargebacks

If something has gone wrong, please contact us first. We can almost always resolve a legitimate issue faster than a chargeback process, and doing so lets us keep offering refund terms as flexible as the ones above. Contacting us first is a request, not a requirement — it does not affect your right to dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer.
